How is Saxenda applied?
The procedure is very simple. The patient must inject the indicated dose under the skin once a day in the stomach area (abdomen), upper leg (thigh) or upper arm, trying to take Saxenda at the same time every day.
How long does the treatment last?
After following the treatment for 12 weeks, with variable doses, the patient usually loses at least 5% of his/her initial body weight. Your physician will design a diet and exercise program for you to follow while you are taking Saxenda.
